OUR STORY

 

Founded by Pastor and Entrepreneur, Donald C. Garner, in 2020, America Serving the Hungry was birthed out of an assignment called by God to feed the hungry. During a trying time in his life, Donald experienced the hardship of food insecurity and homelessness. Overcoming those hardships and his love for people who are hurting have fueled his passion, empathy, love, and commitment to fight against hunger and poverty.

 

 

America Serving the Hungry emerged from a collective desire to address the pressing issue of hunger and poverty within our communities. Recognizing the profound impact of food insecurity on individuals and families, we embarked on a mission to provide nourishment and support to those facing difficult circumstances.

We have dedicated ourselves to the tireless pursuit of our mission, striving to alleviate hunger and provide hope to those who need it most. Our commitment to service extends beyond mere words; it is woven into the fabric of everything we do.

OUR MISSION

 

America Serving the Hungry's mission is to locally and nationally empower low to moderately low-income individuals, families, senior citizens, and underserved communities with food, education, essential resources, and economic and domestic stability programs. By actively collaborating with and supporting food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters, we fortify the sustainability of our initiatives, ensuring impactful and lasting support for those in need.
